Whenever any of my kids come home for a visit they always want to go to Chick-fil-a. There are no Chick-fil-a's in New York or Canada so they really want to get their fill whenever there is one close by.
Delicious is the first bite of something you've been craving for a long time!Labels: Saturday Photo Hunt

Emma meets egg....Our grandchild Emma loves to feed herself. She wasn't eggs-actly sure what to do with hard boiled egg yolks. She found them slippery and hard to eat,

Boy Wonder loved riding his big wheel through mud puddles. He looks like a "Tide needed here commercial " Boy Wonder is currently 26 years old now.

This is a picture taken by my daughter (grrrlmeetsworld.com) taken on a fall day in Saskatoon. I love the long shadow pictures of one of my favorite couples.

I have this strange habit of taking pictures of my food especially if I'm eating out some where that I'm sure my kids would enjoy. This was a vegetable plate at a place called "Sweet Potatoes" in Savannah, Ga. Vegetables above are collars with lemon, corn pudding, mashed sweet potatoes with apples, and cold asparagus with tomatoes.

Have you ever wondered would it would be like to STEP up on the winner's podium? To represent your country in some sport and win? To stand proudly while they played your national anthem? Well my kids got that opportunity and as you can see they were all thrilled, ( well maybe not all of them!)
This is our daughter Suzy (First Place), son in law Tim (Second place), and Canadian son in law Jerry (3rd place) at the Olympic park in Canada hamming it up for the camera. When I thought of steps, I though this would be a great picture for the hunt.

The Chrysler Building is considered by many tall building fans to be the world's quintessential skyscraper design.

Virginia Beach's newest attraction is
King Neptune, a colossal 34-foot-high bronze statue located right off the Board Walk. I watched them weilding this "guy" into place. If anyone knows about salt I figured it would be Neptune!
btw.....97% of the world supply of water is salt water, 2% is ice, 1 % is drinkable water.

This is My Mr. Wonderful standing next to a Gutenberg Bible on display at the New York Public Library. It was printed in 1455 using moveable type. 180 Bibles were produced in 3 years ( the amount of time it would have taken to hand write one copy.) Pretty remarkable accomplishment!

This is a photo of my daughter Suzy (now 27 ) with my parents. My dad has been gone for over 21 years now and my mom turns 80 on Thursday. I love this picture because my dad had this cute little half smile that he only used with us and my mom is really beautiful.

This is my beautiful mom today!

The theme this week is Lines.....we are in Canada visiting our very pregnant daughter so the only line I can think of is the
"life line" between mother and baby. Although we have yet to see our sweet baby's face except for this photo we are already attached by the lines of love.

birdseye view of stuff
.
This is just one room of the mission where we work.......Where do you start? Can it ever be organized? Does this picture remind you of the "Where's Waldo?" pictures? Can you find Mr. Wonderful? (hint : He's the one in the black cap!) You can't organize clutter! Anyone want to take on the challenge?
