I’m back from a wild and wonderful week in Savannah,Georgia.  We go every year to meet and greet our supporters and meet with the missions committee at Savannah Christian Church.

I’m missing this little man this week.  We had such a good visit with Oz , Suzy and Tim.  We will be home long enough to wash our clothes and repack our suitcases and head out for Chicago and ultimately Canada to visit with Emma, Becky and Jerry.

A big thank you to little sis Bev, who we will visit in Chicago.  She is making it possible for our visit to Canada.  We have not been to Canada since Emma was 6 months old.  We are looking forward to reconnecting with Becky’s world and meeting Emma’s friends and finding out her favorite places and people.

Big Thank you to Becky and her friends for transferring my blog and it’s content since I am not computer  savvy at all.  I enjoy looking over the past 7 years and seeing what I was doing.

I’ll try posting more this week.

I know you’re having trouble publishing pictures, so my mama wanted me to tell you that it’s Blogger’s fault, and not hers (or her ISPs). Apparently lots of people aren’t able to publish pictures on their blogs for the last few days.

To make up for it, here’s a picture of me that my mama took the other night, when I decided to stay awake until 10 PM! I think I just needed to get in some reading before bed.

Sunday Seven….Emma meets the family!

1. It’s been a busy week with Emma meeting the rest of the family this week. The picture above is Emma with her Uncle Andy (Mom’s little brother) and Auntie Suzy (Mom’s little sis) at Auntie Suzy’s library.

2. This is Emma and I at my desk. Since Emma is half American, her Diva had to buy her a 4th of July outfit in Red, White and Blue. Emma has been very therapeutic for me the last few weeks. I will certainly miss all of them when I have to take them to the airport next week.

3. Emma is intrigued by Uncle Tim’s full beard. She really loves her extended family. Family means lots of kisses, and lots of arms to be held and cuddled.

4. Uncle Andy and Emma seem to be hitting it off together. Andy was a little nervous about being around babies but was soon won over by her smiles and coos.

5. Who Knew that babies come with a warning now days? Emma shirt says, “Caution, may cause Sleepless nights” maybe we should ask her mom and dad if it’s true.

6. Becky was really glad to see Jerry after being gone to a martial arts conference all last week. Jerry surprised her and arrived earlier at Grand Central Station.

7. Poppa is still her favorite. They seem to have a special connection.
All in all it has been a fun week with family. We leave tomorrow to go to Virginia Beach to visit with great grandmother and great auntie Barbara. Emma has really been the star of this US Tour.
