Sunday Seven....Scattered Flurries1. Wednesday we had snow for the first time this season. I love snow especially if I'm at home and can watch it from my warm snuggly nest and not have to drive in it. Unfortunately I had both a doctor's appointment and a dental appointment so was going to have to drive in the slippery stuff.
2. Having just written our Christmas letter I was able to remind Mr. Wonderful that I had totaled the car in February and been hit by a car in May just walking.....was he really sure he wanted me to drive in the snow? Amazingly he decided that he would be happy to drive me to both appointments and held my hand going down the stairs too! (What a good guy he can be with just a little prompting!)
3. For those of you who have noticed that I haven't been around much....my living room has been converted into Advent Ribbon central. We call our home "The Nest" and now with little bits of paper and ribbon everywhere it looks like I'm nesting!
4. Saturday we were able to send out 800 boxes of clothing and blankets to Romania through Operation Blessing. Mr. Wonderful is pretty sore today from all the lifting.
5. We heat our home with an outside wood burner. It has been so nice to be toasty warm and not have to worry about the cost of heating oil.
6. We don't have a fireplace so Mr. Wonderful has been putting on a DVD of a crackling fire with Christmas music. It is relaxing and no mess to clean up.
7. I'm pretty much through with Christmas once I got my Advent Ribbons mailed. I still have about 300 prayer letters to mail but at least it's written and printed.
Hope your homes are warm and bright and that you have special people in your life that add color and fun. Dim the lights, cue the Christmas music, put the fire DVD on play, and snuggle up with your sweetie and a hot cup of coffee with peppermint mocha creamer!

Sounds quite cozy in the nest... even without heated flames!
My seven are up... :) God is good!
