We have a new Sonic Drive In in Waynesboro. I know that doesn't sound too exciting but when you only get to go once a year while visiting friends it is a cause of great celebration for this girl!

Can anyone say diet cherry limeade? I do believe I can hear it calling my name! Ha!

I also just heard from my neighbor and good friend Beckie that Waynesboro is also going to be getting an Olive Garden some time in 2008!
It's really nice when your favorite restaurants are close by for a change.

Maybe having them so near will take some of the appeal away. I know I ate at Chick-fil-a at least 7 times while the kids were visiting. I ate there so often they know me by first name! I think it will be a while before I want to go back again. Santa Cow was there today and I was tempted to go in for a photo op to send to my children but I resisted the temptation.

Living in the country is grand but it is nice to go out for a nice meal with your sweetie now and then. I am really looking forward to having an Olive Garden close by.
