1. Today is Veteran's Day and I am thankful for all our military men that have served in the armed forces to preserve our freedoms. My dad was a WWII, Korean Conflict, and Vietnam Vet.
2. I am a lady-in- waiting this week. I am waiting for Thursday night November 15th so Mr. Wonderful and I can go pick up our beautiful daughter and Miss Emma from the Richmond airport. I'm looking forward and thankful for 13 days with my girls.
3 . I got a call Friday night from Boy Wonder....he told me that his sister had told him that I was using the "F Word" in my blog. No, not that one....this is a"G" rated blog. The "F Word" was Favorite. While using "S" words to describe me I used his sister's name and casually mentioned that she was my favorite New Yorker (who's name started with a S....but I forgot to add that!) I am thrilled that Boy Wonder will be flying home next Sunday morning for my birthday and Thanksgiving...(the first time in over 3 years!)
4. I'm thrilled that Suzy and Tim will be coming early next week to spend the week with us. Yes, the Nest will be crowded and we may have to take a number to use the bathroom but I am so blessed to have everyone coming home. The anticipation is delicious and having them all here under one roof is the best birthday gift this momma could ask for.

5. Happy Birthday to Baby Sister Bev who has a birthday this week. We used to share a birthday cake. Be on the look out for your birthday gifts. Hope you have a happy day and are well celebrated.
6. I am so thankful to God that our Jen is recovering well from her Cochlear Implant surgery. She is such a blessing to all of us that have had the privilege of meeting her during our Blogger Babes Blast in Savannah.

7. This Sunday is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. We have sent several containers to different countries for the organization of Voice of the Martyrs.. A pastor from a restricted nation told this story about the time in prison when he was waiting to be executed at any moment. He was asked how he could handle that situation.
He answered, 'I could feel your prayers in the cell! I knew that Christian brothers and sisters around the world were praying for me right then. Some nights I felt as if there were thousands of brothers and sisters with me in the cell and that we were all celebrating God's grace. That gave me hope during that worst time in my life. Actually I have never felt Christian love in such a strong way.
Forgive me Lord for not speaking your name when it cost me nothing and would benefit those around me. Amen.

By the way - seems we were BOTH off by a couple of days on our girls travel date! Remember last week we said they'd both be traveling on the 17th? Now you say Becky's comin' on the 15th? And I found out Amanda's not flying out until the 19th! LOL! But we've got kids and family members all over the sky and highways next week - don't we? Sheeeeeesh! Well - yours are all prayed up too! As are you & Mr. W!
LOVE you!!!
