1. Monday was Boy Wonder's birthday and even though we were not able to celebrate his birthday with him we continue to celebrate Him. His sister (Suzy) made him a birthday cake and I sent him his favorite cookies and a video game that he wanted.


2. Mr. Wonderful's sister Anne had her shoulder replacement surgery and is home from the hospital. The shoulder will be immobilized for 6 weeks and then it is 9 to 12 months of physical therapy. We appreciate the prayers for her surgery and would ask that you continue to pray for her during the long recovery period.

3. Several weeks ago I got an email from someone who had read about my knee on my blog and had ruptured her achilles whilst dancing in barefeet in her kitchen! We have been emailing ever since.....I call her "Dancing Queen" and she calls me "Rave Babe!" The friendships made over the internet is an amazing thing!


4. Last Monday I got fitted for a knee brace....it's black, ugly and hot. Tuesday I found out from my therapist that it's not the right kind and that it should be a custom fit (which means I can pick out the colors I want). So what do you think....Daisy Yellow or Hot Pink?


5. What's better than ice cream or ice cold watermelon on really hot days? We've been enjoying the air conditioning too!


6. It was nice to be able to attend our regular church service after last week's service projects to the community. It was a good outreach ministry but it was also wonderful to worship with the body of Christ and share communion.


7. Thank you for the warm fuzzes and smiley faces I get from all of you....my computer friends. You cheer me on, encourage me and even give me great advice. You all know me better than some of my best friends. Thanks everyone!


Well that's life in the Daisy Patch for this week. Life is so daily! Cue the music, dim the lights and exit thankfully . Enjoy life, there is no dress rehearsal.
