Name: Lazy Daisy Home: New Hope, Virginia, United States About Me: I'm a registered nurse, married to a minister. We work at a ministry called, "Equipping The Saints".
I am an empty nester with grown children who have scattered over the country and into Canada.
I write for my own amusement and for future record of past achievements, antidotes, and a bit of home-spun and whimsy.
I was thinking of an empty bird's nest for the theme -but I didn't have one! I like to look the nest over to see what interesting stuff it was made of. I've got some photo's up too.
Ah! Empty x two! I don't know if my nest is Empty or not, but the birds just finished it, so am hoping it won't be empty for long. They usually raise two families. Happy Hunting!
You seem to busy to be an empty nester. And now you have a grandbaby. We put my empty bird nest back in the plastic artificial nest to see if someone will like the area and make it home.
You are very creative for this theme. I love your idea for empty. I do not look forward to being an empty nester. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.
I agree that this is VERY creative!! It seems like it will be forever until I am an "empty nester"...but I "feel" it getting closer each day. The first two are only "inches" away from flying the nest. And all I can think is, "My how time flies!"
I've got some photo's up too.
