When I was a little girl my dad would always say, "You'll find what you're looking for in the last place you look." I would answer, "Why?" (because that was my answer to most things) He would say, "Because, when you find it, you stop looking."
Except that when I'm looking for something these days, I find all those other things I was looking for but couldn't find and not my current lost object. Sigh!
