Name: Lazy Daisy Home: New Hope, Virginia, United States About Me: I'm a registered nurse, married to a minister. We work at a ministry called, "Equipping The Saints".
I am an empty nester with grown children who have scattered over the country and into Canada.
I write for my own amusement and for future record of past achievements, antidotes, and a bit of home-spun and whimsy.
This is tooooooo funny. If it is a variation of the South Beach diet, it is good for diabetics and those with heart disease or cholesterol. I keep trying to tell my mom that if she ate smaller amounts and more often she wouldn't get as hungry.
Suggestion: Celery--- before each meal or with each meal in some way. The fiber helps delay stomach emptying and the pancreas isn't as bombarded with carbs. It really helps keep her glucose levels stable and helps her feel full.
I just wish God could have tweeked our metabolisms a little bit higher. Just thinking about food adds pounds for me.
Wow, I didn't get by here yesterday and missed this little gem!! I'd like to print it "just in case"! Seriously, though, I'm sure the guys would love it, too!!
