This week I was reading about Bill and Melinda Gates and the contribution of Warren Buffett to the Gates Foundation. It started me thinking about "significance". We all work hard the first half of our life to accumulate and it seems the second half of our life we work for significance. With that thought in mind here are some success principles I have collected from impressive entrepreneurs that I want to apply to my life. ( At the end of my life, I want no regrets!)- Put first things first and last things not at all.
- Devote yourself to lifelong learning.
- Live with passion!
- Excel at helping others excel.
- Stay open to timely opportunities.
- Surround yourself with experience.
- Follow your sense of calling even to unexpected places.
- Give your time and talents to causes you believe in.
- Live for something bigger than you.
- Envision the future you want to create.
- Commit to a concept with a future.
- Lead from your values.
- Seek divine guidance.
