Have you noticed all the illiteration going on in the blogsphere? ( Monday Memory, Wordless Wenesday, Thursday Thirteen, Friday Feast, Saturday Silly??)

So I'm declaring Tasty Tuesday here in Daisy World today. Lately I've been preoccupied with weight loss or lack of the same. It's effected my attitude, my outlook and my behavior. I have allowed it to take over my life, my thoughts, my hopes and my aspirations. (not to mention at least a third of my blog). It's gotten to the point that I even bore myself! So I have decided to start another blog with weight loss as the theme.

My new blog is called "My Weigh of Thinking"( a birdeye view of my journey into weight loss) In it I have chronicled my adventures with the Miss Chirpy and write down "what's eating me?". I will refer to it occasionally with the link and invite you to journey with me if you are so inclined. Why birds? Did you know that a bird can eat twice it's weight in food? ... So yes, I do "eat like a bird!"

On Tasty Tuesday I would like to focus on something non- food related to savor or relish. Something to mull over, treasure, sip, or linger longer. I'm always open for suggestions so feel free to share your tasty tidbits too!

Time always seems to be a factor. So today I will leave you with a quote that I've heard before but usually don't listen or really take in.

"Yesterday is the past, tomorrow is the future and today is a gift. That's why they call it the present."

I just stole this off Veronika's site because I thought it was so good.
"Rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, if we got sick, at least we didn't die, so let us all be thankful."

Focus on non-related food stuff. I'm focusing on my later tonight weigh in! My goal is to complete my tae bo workout before the kiddo gets home from school. I have almost enough time to do that!

Yes I have noticed all the illiteration going on. I am amazed on what ideas people can come up. You've forgotten to mention the FFMB (Friends of the Friendless Marching Band) and now you have come up with something new The Tasty Tuesday. That would be nice as it does not involve in food. It can be something tasty in ideas, taste in arts and many things. I think I'll join you.

Good Idea! I'm on my way over to do a Tasty Tuesday at MY blog:) Great minds think alike -- I just reactived my weight loss blog yesterday (it can be found at my homepage: www.myprairierose.com -- and click on the "On My Weigh" link.

I so enjoy coming in here -- never know what to expect from you. Can you see in the cracks in my "resolve" not to change at my blog? I've left the layout per se alone; but now I'm fiddling with the side bars; and doing more decorations within the entries. Gotta decorate. Don't know why. An inner creative child wanting out?

I come over to read what you have to say everyday, but I don't always leave a comment. I just wanted to wish you well on your weight loss program and your new blog.
I don't do those Thurs Thirteen, or any of the tagged things. I like to just post to please my family and to keep a log of my thoughts.
I do enjoy reading other blogs though.

I like the quote of sick, not dead. :-)

Savoring something sounds like a good idea.

Hey Daisy, That's a good idea. I hope your weight loss goes well, and I can relate to your wanting to be successful but not have it be the only thing on your blog (or thinking) menu. Your quote about "at least we didn't..." reminds me of my son when he was small. I'd tell him a story, then at the end he would always ask about the protagonist: "Did he die?" When I'd tell him something I remembered about him when he was smaller, sometimes he would ask, "Did I die?" "NO! Thank goodness! You did not die" I would answer, and hug him.
