Thanks for the visit Daisy.
And btw, in case you or your readers are interested, here's what Dr. Joseph Mercola, whom I refer to often on my blog, has posted on chocolate:
http://www.mercola.com/2005/oct/15/the_protective_effect_of_flavanols_in_chocolate.htm

I've been saving this one - thinking of posting on it around Easter when I eat way too much of the good stuff.

It's good to know things about chocolate. Isn't it good to know something you love eating?

So does eating chocolate prevent one from binge eating on chocolate? In my case, no--not if the chocolate comes in the form of a peanut M&M. This is a fun post. I posted about chocolate this week, too. (Michele sent me!)

Michele sent me, Miss Daisy.

I'm way ahead of the curve regarding chocolate, I think. I probably consume over 100 pounds a year. Just tonight I had half a bag of Hershey Kisses. I like the cheap American chocolates like Hersheys to the rich European ones tho--and milk more than the bitter sorts.

BTW, I don't believe the part about the empty stomach. When I'm hungry I eat chocolate way too fast. Half the fun is in the odor on the palatte and if you eat it fast that's not fully enjoyed!
