Rumors continue to fly at the Blog Olympic Training Camp this week as past participant and co-champion Uisce explained why he was bumped off the Letterman show last week. Here's his side of the story.
"It's important that you know the real story behind the Letterman mishap.

I told Dave's producers that I would agree to appear on their show on just one condition, that they had to promise that I would appear that night, or the deal would be off.
They balked at this, saying that sometimes there was an opportunity to grab a "mega-star" -- their words, not mine -- and that there needed to be a little flexibility on my part, as a show of good faith, for such a remote possibility.
"Of course," I offered. And I could think of only one "mega-star" worthy of such a consideration.
They agreed to the celebrity I named.
But it seems there was a bit of a mixup. You see, I did not, in fact, tell them that Matt Hasslebeck was such a mega-star. Of course I was referring to the star of song, stage and screen, the one and only David Hasslehof.
I think this must happen a lot."
Word on the street is that Uisec (alias the Blog Father) is not happy with his shameful treatment and may send Dave "swimming with the fishes."

Running2k's is making the talk show circuit herself. After being turned down by Disney World for conduct unbecoming a princess, she took on the queen herself.....Oprah.
Queen R2 showed the queen of talk yummy vegan snacks, and showed her how to keep her fingers flying over a keyboard instead of using them for unhealthy snacking.
R2 showed the "O" another way to reach out and touch someone in a posting and comment contest. With one hand tied behind her back, while tap dancing and twirling a fire baton our Blogging Champion set a new blazing record ( as well as setting the couch blazing as well.)
In a phone interview, while still vacationing (hiding out) R2 was amazed at how fast Oprah could move. "Those pilates classes of hers are really paying off ," she gushed.
Neither Running2ks or Uisce were available for comment concerning their participation in the training camps. IOBC Chairwomen, Barbara Miers is taking a "wait and see attitude" but it does seem that the pair have been on a whirlwind promotion tour.
