Thirteen Things about Lazy Daisy

13 Items ( besides my suitcase and Mr. Wonderful) I have to take when I travel.



1…. My pillow (or the trip is off!)
2. Ear plugs (Mr. Wonderful snores!)
3. Perscription drugs ( for high blood pressure!)
4. My Bible and a note book for personal devotions.
5. My bunny slippers and ratty robe.
6. Reading material (book or magazines)
7. My tennis shoes (life is too short for anything other than comfortable shoes!)
8. My glasses ( semi- Mr. McGoo without them!)
9. Snacks for the car or plane.
10. Collapsible fan ( also known as a personal cooling device, good for shooing flies and keeping babies entertained in church....all true southern ladies carry one!)
11. Small cross stitch kit to work on ( I get bored easily!)
12. Bottled Water
13. My digital camera to record memories of the trip.

Good list! thanks for coming by my site. And you are definitely not superficial -- I just recycled old writing this week - in a hurry! I also never go anywhere without a bottle of water, my Bible, and comfy shoes! If I have to wear dressy shoes (like for a funeral, wedding, etc, the comfies are in a bag nearby.)

my husband snores too, i've never tried ear plugs though.

Good list. Mine will be up before .. ahhh.. well, evening. I'm shooting for lunch time.

Can I let you in on a little secret? as you continue to walk along side with me in the blogging journey ... you will find that I always have "good intentions". But my follow through sucks. Because I did pay a tidy sum for the new look, I really do feel like I need to do it some justice by keeping it for awhile.

But. *sigh. I know me. So, when you do stop by, check the theme switcher. For awhile I will definately keep Leanne's as the default. But, I am sure I will be back to "playing" and creating. My paper journals are always decorative and eye appealing, so I am just kidding myself when I say "this is it...no more creativness in my blogs. Maybe what I'll do when I start playing again, is to put a "New & the date" behind the title. Creating is just part of who I am. And I like the positive feedback I get with it. So, its not "gone forever".

*sigh* I never go anywhere. The last time I packed a suitcase was for the hospital to give birth. Actually, that was the last 3 times I've ever packed. LOL

I share a lot of the same "non-negotiables" as you when I travel. Mine include

1)Binoculars (for birdwatching)
2) Bird Field Guide
3) Camera(s)
4)Hiking boots and tennis shoes
5) Books and crossword puzzle books.

And I think I am going to start bringing my own pillow along. I've had more uncomfortable nights trying to sleep on hotel pillows. Those things are a big joke.

I always take my pillow, Bible and journal, reading material, my glasses, snacks, and camera with me too. I also have to take the cell phone charger, iPod and iPod charger, and sometimes a blanket.

Good list! I sleep every night with ear plugs, so I cannot leave home without them, although hubby does not snore. I also need a mask against day light (sorry, don't know the English name for it), hand cream at hand (lol). Oh, and sleepers... Thanks for visiting my TT

Bottled water is a MUST!

You can drink it and wash hands or cool off with it.

Um, ear plugs and notebook is a must as well. :0)

If I don't have a book, I'll make him stop to get me one. I NEED TO READ!
