Apparently many of you believe that Barbara Miers, head of the International Blogging Olympics Committee has left the US to attend secret meetings with the winter olympic committee in Torino, Italy.

Mama B was one of the first to report, " I thought I saw her on tv last night in Torino warming up for the next Olympic event.

Renee also agrees and sent me the following message. " She's (Barbara) busy hacking her way into the NBC website to get the Blog Olympics recognized by the rest of the world.

I'm pretty sure that I saw a cryptic message from her on the CNBC news ticker the other day...
"IOBC RLS!"

Running2k's has a differing opinion. "I have proof she's a late entry for the US team in Skeleton. I can't believe she is risking her life--blog olympics are much safer. What is she trying to prove anyway? Here's an attached pic--she sure looks like she's having fun. I bet Jake Silver put her up to this. Come home, Barbara!


Still others believe that Barbara is competing in the ice dancing contest. Killired writes, "I swear I saw her on the Olympics tonight in Torino... she was in the ice dancing contest... I know it was her... I think she was afraid to tell us she's an ice skater... why else would she have such an interest in starting Blog Olympics if she wasn't a true Olympian at heart?!?!?!?! "
