With a cryptic message to the Blog Olympians IOBC Chairwoman Barbara Miers has disappeared till Feb. 26th!

Several Barbara sightings have been recorded.....an anonymous tip states that they saw Barbara at a MENSA gathering in Los Vegas, Nevada. Pictured here you see that our Barbara knows how to blend in with all the others. The caller stated they recognized her because her pocket protector had a mechanical pencil with the blog olympic symbol on it.

Other reported sightings from Running2k's:

Since you pulled me into consulting after retirement, I have heard she was riding a bus in the Bermuda Triangle with Jim Morrison and Amelia Earhardt. But my source was Uisce, so who knows?!?

Minerva has other thoughts on Barbara's whereabouts...."Well, you will never guess but you know that the rugby is on at the
moment and there she was surrounded by four different rugby teams in
the Jacuzzi. I couldn't BELIEVE it...

And then, the day after that, trying out the luge on a tea tray in
Turin. I mean I know this woman loves the Olympics but trying to be a
champion can go a little too far..don't you think?"

Yellow Rose has a different perpective of Barbara's disappearance.

"Ahh, I saw her in Texas in the ICU preforming such risky procedures that I dare not go into them here as to make you all quiver and ill. I snapped this picture of her as she was going into the OR.....I'd know those eyes anywhere!"

These are just a view of the Barbara sightings. If you've seen Barbara in your neck of the woods leave comment where you saw her and what she was doing at the time.

I saw her heading north and buying snowshoes at Walmart.
I'm afraid she might be attempting to follow the winter trail of the moose and other large four legged creatures we have in Canada.
Actually I waited to follow so I could tattle, I mean report her whereabouts here. Last I saw she was in a field with a herd of ...cows.

Well, I don't mean to spread gossip, BUT....I saw Barbara at the Atlanta airport. She didn't see me so I followed her to see which gate she chose. She went into the international terminal and checked in for a flight to, are you ready for this, FIJI!!! I couldn't believe it. So I boldly approached her, introduced myself, and told her I just had to know why she was going to Fiji. She said that she needed some R & R after all the training for the Blog Olympics and then the competition and winning. Her poor body needs some relaxation. She just plans to lay on the beach, get some massages, eat some seafood and read. I guess when you reach the heights she has reached in blogdom, you deserve to go to Fiji. As I walked away, I felt that I had been in the presence of royalty. I looked back and she was sitting there with a big smile on her face.

I know it sounds crazy, but I swear she was coaching the opposing team at my son's soccer game this morning. She kept yelling at the parents who were cheering for their kids to "leave better comments" though and seemed very addled and confused. Gee...I hope she's OK. Maybe the pressure of international competition has gotten to her.
