According to the calendar, winter doesn't officially begin till December 21st.

Yesterday was our first snow fall of the season.

It was really pretty and now the landscape is draped in white. I really believe the best way to enjoy the snow is viewing it from the window , while sipping on a hot cup of tea.

However, today I experience the cold from the unheated warehouse while we packed a container for the Marshall Islands. I thought how ironic it was that we were packing materials in the cold for an island paradise located between Hawaii and Guam , that is always warm (even in the winter!)

Have you ever noticed that once you get really cold that you stay cold all day even when you come inside? I think it's because our blood is thinner from living in the South and eating grits all these years.

What's your favorite way of warming up?

My personal favorite is slipping into bed and putting my ice cold feet on my nice warm hubby?
