Now that I've posted 5 things I want to remember that occurred Nationally and Globally I thought I would post the 5 most important things that occurred in 2005 in Daisy Land.- Christmas in New York City with the whole family. An event that took over a year to plan and was the highlight of my year.
- Our June vacation in Saskatoon to attend the wedding reception of our daughter and SIL. We were able to meet their friends and family members and get a peek at their lives in Saskatoon.
- Our yearly return to Savannah, Georgia to visit with friends, renew acquaintances, visit churches, supporters, small groups and former neighbors. It is always a busy time and we feel like visiting celebrities.
- National Missionary Convention in Atlanta, Georgia. We have many friends that we only get an opportunity to see at National Convention. This year being in the south was an extra blessings as I was able to spend time with my best friend that lives there.
- My mister's short term mission trip to Haiti. He has been to Haiti 9 times and had not been able to return in several years. Our church in Savannah paid his way to go with their mission team. It was a huge blessing to him as he was able to see many old friends and check on our Haitian son that lives at the orphange. It was signfigant to me because I don't do alone well and we decided that we have to travel together in the future.
- (I know I said 5....I lied!) Our friends John and Sandy Ihrig moved from Savannah to work with us at the mission. We are humbled and overjoyed by their dedication and desire to work with us. (In my world....that's huge!)
Was it family, jobs, illness, relationships or financial?
